Today was the day. You missed it. Sorry. I gave away at least 70 tomato and cucumber plants to neighbors who took the trouble to stop by and to random folks just walking by our fence on the public path.

One of the
Things I get to do today is pass on the excitement and enthusiasm that was showered on every single plant. They were blessed with love, with joy, with peace. And now those plants are all over the neighborhood. People will eat the produce, and those attributes will be incorporated into their systems. They'll have more of those qualities that will go out to everyone they come in contact with. Wow. That's a thought.
If you live close by, read this, and want to come sweep up the remains, there are a dozen or so plants still waiting for homes.
I wish I lived nearby!
ReplyDeleteMe, too, Pam. Blessings for your day.
DeleteI wanted to grow some of those cherry sized tomatoes this year, but did not, so far. I tried to start some from seed, but they never produced. Those looks so yummy. I can't wait for the tomatoes to start making.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are from the seed folks, not from my garden. You knew that. Tomatoes are my favorite summer product from the garden. If we are both eager together, will they ripen faster? I sure hope so. Let's do it!
DeletePeacevine tomatoes? What a great name! Andrea, what a considerate way to share with your neighbors!

Not everybody wanted one of those, but I'm sure the plants went where they were needed. At the end of the day, it all seemed perfect.
DeleteAnd thank you, Nancy, for following along with us in the blog. Nice to have you here!
